STEPHANIE MAXIM (2005)
Stephanie Maxim began her passion for dancing at the age of 18, and received the majority of her dance training from Cypress College, as well as many other studios along the way. She has danced for and studied with Marie Hoffman, Robert Salas, Erin Landry, Andy Vaca, Peter Kalivas, Nickerson Rossi Dance, The Assembly, Laura Gorenstein Miller’s Helios Dance Theater, and many others in the LA and Orange County areas.
Dance has taken her across the United States with NBDT, as well as Spain, France, South Africa with Marie Hoffman, and most recently on a Canadian tour with Helios Dance Theater. She has been involved in NBDT’s outreach program in which she has taught, choreographed, and preformed for elementary and high schools in the Long Beach Unified School District. She is also honored to have set her dance, “Vigor” on NBDT’s company of dancers.
Stephanie, is a certified Pilates instructor through Body Arts & Science International, and has taught and choreographed dance at Renaissance High School for the Arts for 9 years.
Stephanie has enjoyed dancing with Nannette Brodie Dance Theater since 2004, and is thankful for the immense support of her family, especially her husband, John, and son, Jack.
