Born and raised in Southern California, Alfonso Fuentes discovered dance when he began to attend college at the University of Southern California, Irvine for his B.S. in Biological Sciences. There he joined the renowned hip-hop team Kaba Modern, where he had extensive training in hip-hop, street and funk styles, plus commercial dance. Alfonso danced for Kaba Modern from 2011-2017 as both a company member and co-director.

 

Since that time, Alfonso has gone on to further pursue his passion for dance by receiving his A.A. in Dance at Orange Coast College and has been fortunate to work with top choreographers and companies including Jose Costas, Colin Connor, Disneyland, LA Choreographers & Dancers, Nannette Brodie Dance Theatre and Jazz Spectrum Dance Company. Alfonso joined Nannette Brodie Dance Theatre in 2021.
